This is made by a company called Zeikos. Canon's original battery is rated 1120mAh and this battery is rated 1700mAh. I tested two Canon batteries vs. these and found that once fully charged these last about 50min while the Canon batteries last about 90mins while recording video. That means these batteries don't have the rated capacity. Since I wanted best capacity for weight I returned these and got another Canon. The return process was easy. If you are looking for value for money and do not mind carrying two extra batteries instead of one then these are still a good deal.
