The viewfinder is excellent. I have used it on every shoot since I received it. I do a lot of shooting from a slider outdoors and without the viewfinder attachment, focus is nearly impossible.
I used the viewfinder on a 3-day canoe trip recently where I dropped it in the river. I found it about an hour later and it survived. I have since added a leash that keeps it around my neck when it is not on the camera.
I highly recommend this product to anyone with a DSLR as it is invaluable for getting sharp focus.

I prefer the bottom screw mounting over the other types that use the magnet/sticker combination.
It's well made and fits well.
This fitting allows for the perfect two handed fast move-and-focus filming. I'm looking forward to using it more and more.
